Scarborough Research 2011-Study: Multi-Market 2011 Release 1 (Current 6 Months only)
"We share a common theme with the AHL. Both companies have a genuine and primary focus on the customer. The AHL has been around for a very long time and continues to reach new plateaus and milestones in both longevity and productivity. Their fan base continues to grow. The AHL provides a great product and unique opportunity for Reebok to reach millions of hockey fans across North America."
-Glen Thornborough, Vice President/Global Sports Marketing, Reebok
"The AHL worked closely with our marketing team here at EA SPORTS to deliver customized impactful programs. We were able to leverage our license by reaching fans not only at a league-wide level, but also at the team level as well. Between online and in-arena activation, we were able to get our product in front of some of the most passionate fans in sports.”
- Jordan Edelstein, Vice President of Marketing, Electronic Arts Canada
"The AHL is top-quality hockey offering fans a terrific opportunity to see some of the young prospects in our game flourish into the next class of elite players in hockey. As owners of the Philadelphia Flyers, we rely heavily on our AHL franchise to create a competitive and spirited environment for our prospects to further develop their skills and be ready for the National Hockey League. Many of our top players on the Flyers have come through the ranks of the AHL and the AHL continues to be a great feeder system into the NHL."
-Peter Luukko, President, Comcast-Spectacor
"Over the last 75 years, the AHL has become more and more a critical step on the career path for virtually every young hockey player who aspires to play in the NHL. With that foundation, the AHL is stronger than ever with a full complement of 30 NHL affiliated teams spread across the U.S. and Canada, with strong league management and growing franchise valuations. We continue to believe that the AHL is positioned to continue to grow hockey both nationally and here in our region due to the great hockey competition on the ice and the sound fundamentals that the AHL operates under."
-Rick Pych, President of Business Operations, Spurs Sports & Entertainment
